 What's New at NetCarrots
TATA Cards

The Tata Group - one of India's largest business conglomerates, has launched India’s first Multi-brand Loyalty Program – the Empower Program that offers the advantage of several loyalty programs, all packed into one card. This program is an exclusive benefit of the Tata Credit Card and the Empower Card. The Empower Card brings to the customer all the facilities of the Empower Program without the credit feature.

Tata Sons, engaged NetCarrots to develop the Empower Program. From bringing together the ever – increasing list of partner brands (currently 19 brands across 12 categories) which include airlines, fuel, groceries, jewelry, power and telecom companies under a single platform to currently managing on-going relationships of this program at various levels, NetCarrots has established itself as a pioneer in the Multi-brand Loyalty space in India.

Nivea @ Barista

Ever thought sipping on a cup of your favorite coffee would result in your face being on the lid of your favorite cream? Not likely, but the Nivea Snapshot contest held in November and December at Barista outlets ensured just that! Around 44 Barista outlets across Delhi and Mumbai provided the platform for the Nivea Face Hunt wherein customers had to enter a contest and could win the prized space on Nivea tins, several iPods and Nivea gift hampers.

Good times got more colorful in December 2006 for all the King Club members. From the desk

Competition is the key word in today’s fast-growing business environment and NetCarrots is conscious of that. A well-designed loyalty program is what we aim to deliver in order to acquire and retain your customers in today’s competitive market.

"Why have a loyalty program", you ask? Ernex, a division of Moneris Solutions Corporation, based in Vancouver, Canada addresses this million-dollar question in the January issue of their newsletter, The Ernex Update. According to the article, due to the rising competition, customer retention has to go beyond price, convenience and service. A well-designed and applied loyalty program plays a significant role in the following areas:

In order to fend off the competition, you must build a recognition component into your program that offers customers preferred service levels and helps create that next level of loyalty. Acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones is essential. To run a successful loyalty program, recognize a new customer and apply the right strategies to make them a returning customer. At the same time, identify and recognize an existing customer and reward them appropriately for their business. The obvious strategy here is to build a strong relationship through your loyalty program to protect them from the competition's advances. The article also reminds you that loyalty marketing is a give and take relationship wherein you offer your clients some benefits in exchange for them being willing to identify themselves to you.

In keeping with these important norms of a successful loyalty program, we at NetCarrots are proud to say we’re doing it right!!
