India: new Tata credit card, first multi-brand card

| The new Tata Credit
Card offers cardholders the opportunity to earn
and redeem loyalty points across 18 brand categories
through one unit. The card, unveiled in association
with the State Bank of India (SBI) card and
MasterCard, will be made available in six
cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad
and Jamshedpur. |

| The Tata privilege program is a
partnership of leading brands across popular categories
including airlines, books and publications, departmental
stores, durable goods, fuel, groceries, hospitality,
insurance, jewelry and telecom. |

| "Along with our program partners,
the Tata credit card will truly offer varied
and unlimited benefits to customers by giving them
more choice, increased convenience and higher value,"
said group managing director Kishor Chaukar. |

| The card has three tiers: Privilege,
Premier and Leaders and will offer instant rewards.
Other features include: global acceptance, free
insurance of up to Rs. 3 million, and zero percent
balance transfer charges for up to 75 days. |

| The company has a target of two
million customers in the next five years with SBI
Cards handling the entire administrative aspect
of the new card including back-end operations, call
center facility and application processing. |
